Vale Clive Jane

Bunbury Golf Club extends its deepest sympathies to the family of Life Member Clive Jane, who passed away this morning –  Thursday 20th July. 

Clive has been a member of the club since 1948 when it was first established at the Clifton Park location.

Clive received the highest of accolades when inducted as a Life Member of the Club in 2008. He served as the Club Captain from 1979 to 1980, and was a respected and accomplished golfer. He won several prestigious tournaments, including Gold Letter events the Centenary Cup in 1973 and the Australia Day Classic in 1989.

Clive was 91 years old and will be dearly missed by his family, friends and fellow members.

Our thoughts are with Clive’s family and friends at this difficult time.

Funeral arrangements are currently being coordinated and will be made available on the website once they are known.
