Course Update – 3rd Tee, Bunkers, Members Insurance

Third Tee – New signage has recently been placed on the 3rd tee to advise the White tees are now located on the forward tee near the Red Markers permanently. Plans are currently in place to increase the tee size to allow for the addition traffic and wear. Play from the Blue tee is only permitted to be used for COMPETITION ROUNDS ONLY- Please assist by always playing from the White or Red tees for all social play.
Members Insurance – All members with an official golf handicap have 3rd party property insurance included in their annual golf membership fees with the club. This cover is for any property damage or injury to a 3rd party which may result from playing golf. This includes damages to neighbouring houses- Please note, there is ZERO excess fee applicable and we encourage Members to notify the club of any incident or if an errant tee shot is hit OOB- Please send an SMS to 0499 028 895 with your name and OOB in the text for our records should a neighbour contact the club seeking compensation. The club ensures that there will be no out of pocket expenses to the member should an incident occur. Another great value add to your Membership fee which covers you playing golf anywhere in Australia…. If only we could travel 😉
Bunkers – A full review of the course bunkers has been completed recently resulting in changes to reduce the raked areas and ball collection areas in bunkers across the course. This will result in playing shots from flat lies with more consistent sand depths and firmness with reduced shots having to be played from downhill lies. You will have noticed the BLUE DOTS positioned at suitable locations outlining where to enter and exit the bunkers. Please support the grounds team to assist in improving bunker surfaces for the enjoyment of all golfers. It is anticipated that all bunkers will be completed by early February 2022.
