Board – Bunbury Golf Club Inc
The Board is comprised of eight persons appointed by the members of Bunbury Golf Club Inc.
To provide members with a quality course and facilities, a friendly environment and the opportunity to enjoy their golf.
To be recognised as the best golf club in regional Western Australia.
To provide outstanding value and service to members and guests.
To foster a sense of belonging and pride amongst members through the continued development of the Club’s profile and reputation.
To promote the enjoyment of golf and the enhancement of skill through a competition program which meets the needs and expectations of members of all skill levels and interest.
Foster the development of Junior golf.
To continue with the ongoing strategies within the clubs development plan supporting key areas of interest for the Club and the members.
Our Strategic/Development plan
The purpose of the development plan is to provide a structured path forward over the next five years for the Bunbury Golf Club. It is a roadmap for the current and future Boards to ensure development is not ad hoc and that it is achieved in a financially responsible manner.
The Finance Committee reviews the financial reporting and performance of the Club, makes financial recommendations for the Board, reviews systems for internal control and any issues arising from the external audit.
The Grounds Committee is responsible to regularly inspect the golf course and maintain a line of communication with the ground staff.
The Membership Committee is responsible for the screening of membership applications, member integration, and code of behaviour.
The Match Committee is responsible for ensuring a high standard of golfing competition and enjoyment for all levels of players.
House & Social Committee
The House & Social committee is responsible for planning and promoting regular social events for members and guests entertainment and social interaction.
The Women’s Committee is responsible for all women’s specific match and social events are hosted to the standard required from the Club.
