17th Tee Tree

Published on 25th May 2021 in Members News

Dear Members,

The 17th Tee Tree has now been removed following a decision of the Board for the safety and health of our members and guests.

A special thank you to our sod skwod for their efforts and time to assist in the clean up and clearing of teh tree.

The removal is not yet complete with the remainder of the trunk to be moved on Friday 28th May. Please note, all play on the 18th hole will be from the women’s tee block until the weekend.

The removal has been completed at no cost to the club with thanks to Arthur Holland and his arborist contacts. An additional thanks to Aaron Hovey for also providing some heavy machinery to assist in the removal.

The timber is being recycled and will be used for building materials, furniture and some kept for club trophies or mementos.

Regards,

Des Shearer

General Manager
